Welcome from Fr. Tim
Dear Parents and Friends of St. Francis Xavier School,
What a great treasure we have in our school.
Eager young folks excited at the prospect of learning. Their enthusiasm and spirit makes me want to be a youngster again! Their readiness to learn and explore the world God has given us makes me want to learn more myself. Praying with them and celebrating Mass with them helps me to appreciate why Jesus said, “Let the children come unto me.”
The longer I am here the more I appreciate our faculty and staff. I’m impressed by their dedication and commitment to helping your children learn. They are eager to learn new things as well as help your children continue their education. Above all, I appreciate their willingness to witness to their faith by the way they guide and lead their students in their classes.
What a treasure we have in all of you parents. It is great to see so many people taking a deep interest in their education of their children. Your willingness to get involved and take on so many roles of leadership is tremendous. Thank you so much for this commitment.
We are so fortunate to have St. Francis Xavier School as part of our parish mission. It is a great place to learn and to grow spiritually. I encourage you to share the excitement of your children with other parents in our community. Let them know what a great school we have. Remind them of the many opportunities to grow intellectually and spiritually. As a Catholic school, we have something special to offer to our young people: getting to know Jesus and the life He wants for them.
To all of our new families: welcome. We know you will be pleased with the school and we look forward to the gifts you can bring to our community.
May God’s blessings be your strength and hope as we journey through this year.
