"As an educator with high expectations for schools, communities, and fellow educators, I've been delighted with the care, attention, and spirit that are inherent in the SFX experience. SFX is an exceptional place with uncommon practices that nurture the whole child in ways that matter academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. The difference is in the staff's intention and capacity to make decisions that directly benefit each child; the result is worth every dime!"

Educating the Whole Child

St. Francis Xavier School is committed to educating the whole child

- academically, emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually -  preparing students for the next levels of education and beyond. We believe it is essential to teach the values our students will need to be successful throughout their lives.

Academic

St. Francis Xavier School provides a strong, standards-based curriculum in all subject areas: religion, reading, math, language arts, science, social studies, spelling, phonics, music, physical education, computers and Spanish.

Emotional

The small class sizes at St. Francis Xavier School allow teachers to truly get to know their students and to cultivate their self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem.

Social

Through daily teachings, role modeling and mentoring, students’ social development is cultivated and strengthened.

Physical

Through recess, physical education class, and extracurricular opportunities,

St. Francis Xavier School encourages the physical activity essential to developing healthy bodies and minds.

Spiritual

Our Catholic faith is our constant guide and is embedded into the school day through prayer, religion class and participation in the weekly, student-led Mass.
